Payment Policy

What follows is the complete list of ways you can pay at The Calligraphy Shop, and what happens to your details when you do.

Methods we accept

Credit and debit cards

Card payments cover Visa, Mastercard and American Express, captured by our payment provider.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Available on supported devices and browsers as an express checkout option.

Klarna

Offered at checkout where eligible. Terms are set by Klarna, not by us.

Afterpay

Available at checkout where eligible. The agreement is between you and Afterpay.

Currency

All figures on the site are US dollars, both displayed and charged. No surcharge is added on top of the checkout total.

How your card details are handled

Payments are handled by our payment provider on their own infrastructure. We do not hold card numbers at any point; we are told only that a charge succeeded.

When you are charged

The charge happens as the order is placed, not when the parcel leaves. Orders we cannot fulfil are cancelled and refunded in full. See the Cancellation Policy.

Declined payments

Declines do not create an order or take funds. A short-lived authorisation may show on your statement and disappears on its own. Ask your issuer first, then call +1 917-652-4475.
